About Us
The Founder
Meet the founder, Nathan Dungan! He is a young entrepreneur who loves Jesus and lives in San Diego, California. Starting from an early age, he has had a very active imagination, a great passion for storytelling and has expressed that in many ways growing up, including producing stop-motion films with Star Wars action figures and Minecraft machinimas. Eight years ago, that passion has evolved into creative media, originating through his church, and now he desires to use those gifts for expanding the Kingdom of God.
In 2025, Nathan had a vision placed on his heart, burdened by a lack of creativity for Christ fueling the next generation, while simultaneously witnessing revival among the Gen Z demographic, and the gospel being shared through media (The Chosen, The House of David, and others), and that vision led him to founding POIEO Collective.
The Meaning
What would it look like if the next generation of Christ-centered creative minds ventured beyond the four walls of the church? The name comes from the greek verb ποιέω, which means "to create", "to make", or to "bring forth." It is seen throughout the New Testament including Acts 17:24, James 1:22, Matthew 7:17, John 5:19, 1 John 2:29, and Revelation 21:5.
Creativity is not passive, but active. More than that, it all points back to God, the ultimate Creator. And we, who are made in His image, reflect His character through these creative gifts we have. So what would happen if passionate creatives of this generation and the next one actually lived by that truth? What if we perceived our gifts not as our own, nor something we accomplished by our own strength, but something entrusted to us by the Lord for His greater purposes?
The Mission
POIEO began as this brand, existing as an outward expression of this deeper conviction: that creativity is a gift from God, and the next generation of Christ-centered creatives carries something of much greater importance than the merch... but our vision doesn't end there.
As POIEO grows, if God willing, our vision is to become much more than what is worn, but to become a platform that gathers, equips, and sends young creatives into their individual callings. What has been planted through apparel, will one day grow into a creative organization rooted in discipleship, collaboration, and practical training, helping artists, filmmakers, musicians, designers, and storytellers use their gifts to serve the Gospel.
From the city of San Diego, out into the state of California, and out into the nation, POIEO exists to raise a generation that creates with conviction—through testimonies, worship, film, events, and media—becoming a stepping stone for this demographic to be sharpened, connected, and commissioned to impact culture for the Kingdom.

Whether you’re just now discovering your calling, or you're already pursuing it, this is an invitation to be part of a community that sharpens one another (Proverbs 27:17), creates with purpose, and sends the gospel to the ends of the earth through what we make.
Things always start through small beginnings. What’s being built right now is small, but the vision is much grander than one brand.
